BOAT TRANSPORT SERVICES

 Open Transport service offers the standard level of care in boat shipping. I will carefully load your boat onto my trailer will tow the trailer to the delivery location and unload your boat. Customer will be responsible for any lift fees to load and unload my trailer. I can load and unload at boat ramps to save any fee for the customer. 

 Tow-Away Service is the base level of service for boat transport. I will use my truck to tow your boat and trailer to the destination. This service is only for legal trailers and boats roadworthy for the trip. Trailer MUST be in roadworthy condition, ( tires, brakes, bearings, lights, etc. ) If the load/trailer to be hauled is not roadworthy, the customer will be responsible for making the load/trailer roadworthy before the load is accepted for pick up by the driver. If the load cannot be made roadworthy,  the customer is responsible for the driver's expenses for traveling to pick up the load. Any mechanical failures/problems of the load/trailer to be transported not the fault of the driver will be paid for by the customer. This includes but is not limited to blown/damaged tires and other hazardous conditions. 

 Please try to have all loose items secured or stowed away for transport. Cushions that are not permanently attached should be removed and stored. I can transport loose cushions in my vehicle. Please have all canvas and isinglass removed for transport. Canvas that is dry rotted can tear during transport, Capt. Greg Thomas Inc. will not be responsible for any damaged canvas or cushions. If transport is on your trailer, please make sure the trailer is in roadworthy condition, tires, lights, bearings, etc.  Please note old tires may have 90% of the tread life left but can be dry rotted and not suitable for highway transport.
